Working Group Activities at PSi #29: Assemble
So many ways to assemble…

Working Groups are a key aspect of PSi’s structure, activity and identity. They reflect the wide diversity of interests, investments and areas of inquiry that make up our dynamic organization. They also provide important ‘core continuity,’ even as the annual conference evolves and adapts through the independent agency of its yearly hosts. Equally important, Working Groups provide access to pre-existing communities of shared interest and an alternate entry point into the conference activities.

The following Working Groups are planning in-person, online and/or hybrid activities in association with PSi #29: Assemble, which takes place 20 – 23 June 2024 at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London, UK.

Artistic Research
Community Performance
Critical Race Performance Studies
Performance and Critical Social Praxis
Performance and Design
Dramaturgy and Performance
Performance in Historical Paradigms
Performance and Pedagogy

We encourage all interested individuals to reach out to the individual WG Convenors (found on the PSi Working Groups page: https://www.psi-web.org/working-groups/) for details on the WG’s planned activities, Calls for Proposals, and opportunities for participation in what promises to be a vital and memorable ‘assembly’ in London this June. (Full conference information, including Early Bird Registration pricing, can be found on the event website here: https://psi29.com/.)

Note: individuals or groups interested in initiating new Working Groups within PSi should reach out to the Working Group Officer, Bruce Barton, at bruce.barton@ucalgary.ca.
