Postdoctoral Fellowship in Theatre and Performance Studies
The University of Maryland’s School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies seeks a candidate for a postdoctoral position for the academic year 2016-2017. Applicants must propose a rigorous research agenda that takes advantage of resources on our campus and region.
Responsibilities:
1. Two undergraduate courses;
2. Optional graduate seminar in area of specialization;
3. Student mentoring
4. Participation in visiting scholar programs;
5. Service on curriculum-related committees.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Digital Humanities, musical theatre, African American theatre, political theatre, and/or practice as research, other areas considered.
Qualifications: PhD degree in Theatre or Performance Studies, conferred no later than June 1, 2016.
